Bought these boots from Blacks a while ago but only just recently started any kind of serious walking and the last two outings have resulted on completely soaked feet. They are not waterproof!
When I stopped my walk and setup my tent for an overnight camp my feet soon turned very cold as my feet and the inside of the boots were wet-through. I had to endure putting wet boots back on the next day... very uncomfortable.
To end on a good note, the boots are really comfortable (when dry) and took no "breaking in".
Does peter storm make any proper waterproof boots?
