Here are some of the wonderful things that users have written about our products:-
"My first Peter Storm sweater kept me warm for over 20 years. I've ordered my next one, a 700 Yachtsman, to last me the next 20 or 30. Surely appreciate the ease of buying it through your eBay shop. When it arrives, I'll slip it on and walk out on the quarterdeck of my porch at dusk of an Oregon monsoon spring, sneering at the rain... Wearing my Peter Storm, I could face down anyone wearing a $3000 suit, rescue Titanic survivors, and confidently play cards with James Bond. How to put this ...? It's great to be warm in a Peter Storm, but far better to be cool in one" Mr. Jeff T, Independence, Oregon.
"I have had a heavy navy blue Peter Storm crew neck wool sweater for many years. It has seen me through many a cold watch at sea. It is still my preference for fighting off cold whether under FW (foul-weather) gear or by itself...." Mr. Edward G. Virginia.
"Back in 1977 or '78 I bought my husband a wool sweater for Christmas. That sweater has been worn many many days every winter since then. After almost 25 years it has really taken a beating but he still insists on wearing it because he loves it so. For Christmas this year I thought I would surprise him with another one just like it.....this sweater is a true testament of how your product stands up to time, style and use.." Mrs. Zoë J. New York.
"I want you and the rest of Peter Storm to know what a valued product you have. I have been married to my husband for 9 years. When I first met him he took me out sailing on Lake Superior for a month, during which there were countless time when he wore "the sweater". Shortly after this trip he lost the sweater in some marina and has talked about it for the last nine years. I have looked all over the USA, when I'm out travelling, for a sweater like the one my husband had....we were just chatting about our sailing trips of yore and once again the sweater was mentioned....now it has taken me about a day to find you on the internet, send an e-mail, receive a response and be prepared to order. Your product impressed me, but most of all it does the job for the sailor in my life. THANK YOU." Mrs. Maria A. Wisconsin.
"I still own a oiled wool Peter Storm sweater that I bought sometime in the early 1980's in Bozeman, Montana. I used it for years hunting and camping in the mountains. I found it especially valuable in rainy, cold weather. I outgrew it but couldn't part with it. Last year I handed it down to my son. It's still is in remarkable condition! He is learning how valuable a wool sweater can be in inclement weather. I am relieved that Peter Storm still makes sweaters and look forward to hearing from you!" Don J. Montana.
"Our sweater arrived this morning and it fits just perfectly. We are very pleased. My husband had a sweater just like this when I first met him 25 years ago, but it had been handed down to him by a friend and it was pretty worn even then. He still has it for camping. Then we tried to find another one in Millets on a visit home to Scotland, but they only had a rust coloured one. It is still going strong after 23 years following a major darning and reinforcing job I did on the elbows and welt last year. Now he has this new one and a huge grin on his face! Thank you." Dr. H, Pullman, Washington.
"I am thrilled to finally have found that I can purchase a Peter Storm sweater without leaving the USA. About 25 years ago I acquired two Peter Storm Yachtsman crew neck sweaters- one black and white one and the other, bone. I have since outgrown the "bone" and my wife has inherited it, much to her delight. I can't wait to receive its replacement. There's nothing that can compare to the warmth and quality of a Peter Storm - especially when camping or backpacking in the cold winter here in Michigan!" Mr. Walter W, Michigan.
The denim (perfect color) sweater arrived sometime after December 21 and before December 25 and we had already left for Christmas vacation. However, today, January 10, is my husband's 51st birthday. I gave him the Peter Storm sweater and it really touched his heart. That is extraordinary because he could care less about clothing and is never too excited. He's a geologist and you know what I mean, if you know any. I even buy his shoes. When he opened the package he exclaimed, "It's a Peter Storm - where did you find this?" You see, we went to college in Arundel back in 1975 at an American college named New England College. That's when he bought his first Peter Storm sweater 31 years ago, which he was still wearing, with holes in the elbow. Quite a testimony to your quality. He has always treasured that sweater and it's practical wool. It was a great present for him. Our 16 year old daughter said, "Gee Dad, how long did that sweater last? Thirty one years? I guess it's the last one you'll ever need!" Leave it to teenagers to remind us of our age!!! Mrs. Linda S., Georgia.
